The “Bad Boys” series that started in 1995, along with catchy “Bad Boys” song–this is the third movie in the series.
(Will Smith) Mike Lowrey and (Martin Lawrence) Marcus Burnett are back together for one last ride. They play old-school police officers who team up with the newly created elite team “AMMO” of the Miami police department to take down the brutal leader of a Miami drug cartel.
If you’re in the mood for non-stop action and silliness, this mindless popcorn movie fits the bill. I laughed at quite a few scenes. Both Smith and Lawrence are hysterical together. It starts with the birth of Martin Lawrence’s grandchild and weaves family themes into the script.
The movie is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
Be warned; the film is very loud, similar to the “Transformer” movies.
