Originally hailing from Lansing Michigan, Christian James graduated from Lansing Catholic High School in 2006. A year after finishing high school he decided to enlist in the United States Army where he received training to become a Signal Support Systems Specialist in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Fort Gordon, Georgia. He spent most of his time in service as a communications chief at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, however he did spend a year deployed to Iraq in 2009. During his service he received some of the Army’s most celebrated awards, a few of which were three Army Accommodation Medals for meritorious service, seven Certificates of Achievement for unparalleled dedication to organizational development and a good conduct medal for four years of service with no disciplinary action. Christian left the United States Army in 2012 as a Sergeant with an honorable discharge.

After the military Christian ventured to Chicago Illinois to attend Columbia College of Chicago to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design and Production and a second Bachelor of Arts in Business. He is currently in his third year of college and after college he would like to begin the process to starting his own business. Christian currently works as a studio assistant at the Columbia College Music Studios, as an audio design and post-production engineer for a production company out of Chicago called Creative Entertainment Media Group, and he also interns at our radio station, Hollywood 360.

Christian’s short term goals include graduating from college with honors, helping progress the companies he currently works with to reach their fullest potential, and participating in the 2015 Chicago Triathlon. For the bigger picture Christian hopes to, one day, be the Chief Executive Officer of his own start-up company.
