Love Sarah ★★★

Hi Carl, tonight I’m reviewing a film that is a dessert lover’s delight. “Love Sarah” is a British romance film centering on a daughter’s dream to open a bakery in memory of her late Mom or Mum.

Three women of three generations, along with a male chef, open a bakery in Notting Hill, a West London district. This is no easy task, as the competition between bakeries is fierce.

The seasoned actress Celia Imrie is delightful as she turns her grief towards enriching the neighborhood and building a life with her granddaughter, played by Shannon Tarbet.

The Director is Eliza Schroeder, and the screenwriter is Jake Brunge., Shelley Conn and Rupert Penry-Jones also star.

The Bottom-line: The film is a mixture of Notting Hill, Fleabag, and The Great British Bake-Off Show. With love and forgiveness at its core. Tremendous performances by all.

Thanks so much for listening in tonight; this is Sarah Knight Adamson for Sarah’s Backstage Pass.com; I enjoy bringing you the latest film and TV news. See you next week.
